Happy Friday, folks! Here are a few stories that brightened things up around the OO office this week:

Archaeologists recently discovered that Oregon is home to the oldest-known human remains in North America -- 14,500 years old to be exact!

Looks as though a solar storm may bring a special treat to the Pacific Northwest this weekend.

And the Oregon Humane Society alerted us to this sad story with a happy ending:
