Sign the Petition: Demand a Fair Election in Clackamas County

Clackamas County’s Elections Office is under investigation for alleged ballot tampering to benefit Republican candidates, and now the same office has come under fire for calling the police to harass Democratic canvassers.
County Clerk Sherry Hall has a record of making politically charged statements that have revealed her right-wing bias, raising doubts around the state that she can administer a fair election.

Hall is independently elected, and she's directly responsible for the integrity of elections in the county. But, simply put, there’s no reason to have any confidence in the integrity of the elections process in Clackamas County, and that’s an outrage.
This doesn’t just affect Clackamas County. The vote count in Clackamas will impact many statewide races, and will even likely determine who holds the majority in the Oregon House of Representatives.
The Department of Justice is currently investigating Sherry Hall’s office, but we also need to raise our voice and make it clear across the state that Hall’s record of voting irregularities and political bias is unacceptable.

I worked for Ms Hall and she has no management qualifications; is a bully; and is totally incompetent. Someone should take a look at how many county employees have left due to her. She needs more than just being voted out of office.
Impeach Sherry Hall! She can't pretend she didn't know anything about what was happening right under her nose.
I have always thought that ballots were kept locked up and that none could be opened except in the presence of a representative of each party.
Apparently, I have been wrong all these years.
How could Sherry Hall have allowed such a situation to occur?

Honesty and integrity are needed in our polling places. Clackamas County it is your duty and legal obligation to provide clean and fair elections for your county.
One is prosecuted under the law, not persecuted. However, you are correct. Any vote tampering or fraud should be prosecuted. For every case I've heard of fraud on the behalf of Republican candidates, I have heard of at least 20 cases on behalf of Democrat candidates. Yes, they ALL should be prosecuted!
This is inexcusable, and people should be made aware of it so it doesn't happen again. If that requires making an example of the guilty parties, that's the way it goes.

I agree 100% that voter fraud needs to be stopped. "ALL" voter fraud. Sherry Hall is being accused of making politically charged statements that show her "right-wing bias." The exact same thing can be said about left-wing, "liberal bias". It's common knowledge that the mainstream liberal media is sooo bias. There is no comparison. As far as Ms. Hall being prosecuted to the "FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW"; same thing. Liberal/Democratic voter fraud far out-weighs Republicans. Think back to 2008; the "New Black Panthers" stood outside of voting offices with weapons. (clubs, large sticks & baseball bats) They openly threatened Republicans and would not allow them inside to vote. It was on video tape for ALL to see. However, there was NO intervention to stop those VIOLENT THUGS. And that is exactly what they are. Nothing but violent, worthless, THUGS. During the lame duck session, President Bush ordered an investigation into this matter of voter INTIMIDATION. But as soon as Obama was inaugurated, he appointed a new head of the DOJ who then put a stop to that investigation. And this is only 1 of SO MANY examples of this B.S. So stop the hypocricy. Liberals/Democrats are ALSO guilty of voter fraud.
Our Clackamas county has been corrupted and if all opponents believe in themselves and what they are running for then they need to NEVER allow dishonesty to taint what they represent!

The entire voting systems throughout this Country need to be Fixed so this can't happen Ever. What Country is this anyway? Has everyone lost their sense of Fairness, what is right an Wrong? I am losing my faith in this Country because of the shameless acts that the people we elect to do what is right choose to join in on the Sabotage of our Country. The percentage of honest people throughout our Government has to be at it's ALL TIME LOW.

I was in Florida during the 2000 elections so have become inured to these cheats. During the 2004 elections it was common (it happened both to me as well as my mother) to have the electronic voting machine (Yes, owned by a Republican backed company) actually switch your vote to their preferred candidate right at the last second.
At least awareness is increasing that we do indeed have a corporate plutocracy.
